Ian M. Shemesh is a licensed paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario since 2013, and has been a notary public since 2020. He studied Psychology at York University (1989–1991), earning a B.A. (Psych), and later completed his Paralegal Education Program in 2012 with Honours. He has been a member of the Ontario Paralegal Association since 2012.

Before becoming licensed, Ian worked in lease review and contract negotiation with a property management group (2005–2009), gaining practical knowledge of real estate contracts. Between 2009 and 2012, he trained at the criminal law chambers of Leora Shemesh, where he was mentored in courtroom advocacy and client service. These formative experiences sharpened his skills in procedure, client communication, and case preparation.
